This is the
first Blackstock book I have read (I am in the middle of a few books including her seaside novella) and there are
great hopes of her becoming another of my favorites.
The book is about a man named Sam. Sam has a strange dream one night and wakes up not able to go back to sleep.
He seemingly appears to be the same man he went to bed as the night before. But then he talks to his wife, and goes to
the diner he eats at everyday. The thoughts that he hears of the people he interacts with on a daily basis don't seem to be
the same as those people he see's and talks to everyday. But then with the help of his pastor and college buddy he learns
that they all are missing something. Something he can give them and that is Christ.
This novella is a very moving book, and an easy read in about an hour or so, depending on how fast of a reader you are. I read
it in about two, and i am a fast reader.
I like novellas personally they are small and light and get down to the point and delight you in the smallest of ways.
Remember the best gifts come in the smallest of packages. This is truly such a gift. Spirtually Recomended.
